Report: U.S. in Secret Talks with Iraqi Insurgents

here is the article. does bush still think insurgents are terrorists? Are we negotiating with terrorists? Are we yielding to their tactics of violence?

What a positive development! Sounds like the Iraqi portion of the insurgency could be ready to throw in the towel. Powerline's
take was a bit different than yours. Instead of attacking the story from the Bush-is-compromising-his-principles point of view, Hindrocket sees it as possible evidence of a successful strategy.
