"Now Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld says he knows of no intelligence linking Saddam and al Qaeda.
In prepared remarks given at the Council on Foreign Relations on Monday, Rumsfeld said, 'I have not seen any strong hard evidence that links the two.'" - http://abcnews.go.com/sections/WNT/World/Saddam_alQaeda_041005-2.html
Well, that wouldn't be the first thing the media has ignored. I'm not sure if this story will pan out or not, but so far CNSNews has treated the documents in a professional way that should be a lesson for CBS. I'm anxious to hear more about it.
But the most interesting thing so far about the story (to me, at least) is the mention of all the untranslated documents that our intelligence hasn't been able to get to.
