These remind me of the pictures in my Grandma's bible. She kept it on the bookshelf by the kitchen table and I would carefully take it out to pour over the detailed imagery of the great flood and the poor souls clinging to cliff sides and swallowed by sharks as the waters rose while Noah and his family were kept safe in the ark. Very strong similarities. Both leave lasting impressions.
